Hotels Tenerife »
There is a large range of different types of hotels Tenerife available to you when staying on holiday there. From luxurious hotels Tenerife to self catering apartments, there are literally hundreds (if not thousands) of accommodation providers across the island offering a range of standards of accommodation.
As the largest island in the Canary Islands, Tenerife has the largest selection of hotels too. 5 star hotels can cost as much as £200 or £300 per person per night where a 1 or 2 star hotel will set you back a mere £10 or £20.
So with all this selection, how do you go about booking the best hotel?
• Firstly, we recommend that you decide on your budget, and then think of what you are willing to spend (just that little bit extra) to get something that you really like
• Second, do a search on tenerife rooms. Have a look what's on offer and what's available for your money.
• When you've picked a few different hotels that you think are suitable for your needs, take some time to search round on the internet on sites like TripAdvisor to see what other people who have stayed there have to say about the place.
• Once you've picked your favourite hotel, use our quick and easy booking facility to book your room
• Now relax!
So what criteria should you look out for when booking a hotel room?
Firstly, take a look at the pictures. Whilst it's true that hotels in Tenerife do take pictures of their rooms and grounds in the best possible light and photos never tell the whole story, they are a really good indicator of what you're likely to get. And a trick you can use is to try and look past just what the photo shows you and think about what it isn't showing - this can often be the best way to see what the hotel doesn't want you to see.
And websites like tripadvisor are great for photos too. They actually allow hotel guests to upload their own "candid" shots of the rooms they've stayed in so you can get a better look. Again though, please be aware that these photos don't tell the whole story either and guests are more likely to post a bad photo than a good one.
Secondly, take a look and see what other facilities a hotel has to offer. Whether it's a gym, swimming pool (how many?), or cinema. Many hotels in Tenerife also offer free entertainment each night for their guests so you can see if that is available as well.
In fact, sometimes the entertainment that the hotels put on can be better than what you'll see in a bar or club so make sure you check out the information about what's on offer during your stay, it can save you a fortune.
